HST Continues, is there a point to fighting on?

Is it really worth fighting on and on? We spent 2 years in the trenches and we won 2 major battles, many honest, hard working people devoted time and money and resources but what did those people really win? Does our Government now answer to the demands of the people they represent or do they continue to answer to Corporate Entities and Financial Supporters? If the current Liberal Government wants to drag their feet and stall the removal of the HST, they will drag their feet and stall and promise and stall and deceive. Is it really worth starting the fight up again? We won the battle but outside of voting them out in the next election, how do we win the war? The Liberals actions are destroying public opinion of their ability to run the Province with honesty and integrity and they don’t seem to care, what does that mean? The latest rumour, they are planning to create a NEW PST to replace the HST . . . how is that anywhere close to what the people called for? This looks like a last ditch effort to sell BC out before the Liberals are run out of office.

I’m curious to hear what others think, post your comments and tell me if you think that doing the same thing that was done before will produce different results? Will the thousands of volunteers that made it all happen over the last few years do it all over again? My mind isn’t made up yet but I am really not convinced that any continued fight before the next election will result in any action untill it can be spun into a campaign maneuver by the Liberals in a last ditch effort to convince the people that they should be given another chance. I am not convinced that continuing this fight will be a good thing at all, it might just backfire. Only time will tell what happens next with the HST in BC but one thing is for sure, this FightHST.com website will actively promote the removal of the Liberal Party from BC Government and will NOT be used to promote any specific Party or Candidate.
