I wonder if this will ever be wrong about Government in BC/Canada. #HST #SmartMeters

The funny thing is that in my first hand exposure to politics on both sides of the HST issue, this image is pretty bang on. I met some people that will keep this reputation going strong if they are ever elected into any Government position. I wonder if we will ever have leaders that actually considers the regular people of BC or Canada first and foremost before the financial contributors to their party? I also wonder if individuals will seek to obtain a Government position because they care about our Province more than they care about that huge pension at the end of their term?

Imagine how great our home could be if regular people mattered.  I challenge our Government representatives to accept pensions only in the amount that they are entitled to based on deductions from their pay as employees of the people (after their offensive salary is reduced as well), I bet that would thin out the number of people scrambling to get into politics.
