As time goes by, we are learning more and more about what they knew, when they knew...and it certainly isn't looking like they've been honest. The liberals' own website already claims we have some of , if not the lowest corporate/business tax rates in canada (and I beleive one minister on video on the site actually says "if not the world"). Why should we, the public, have to shoulder this tax break for the corporations? Mr. Cambpell has already had us pick up offloaded costs, msp hikes prior to the election and delisted services, cut services, torn up contracts. He can't even give us concrete reasons why this is good for us; only for the business community. He's shown his arrogance and disregard for us over the last 8 years, hid the fact he was going to do this now...enough is enough. We've already done more than our share. If the Government even cared about the optics of the situation, they would rescind the wage increases they gave themselves, the cola clause they gave themselves, and set the example for business by NOT increasing the shelf price of alcohol to maintain their own bottom line. If the Liberals won't set the example, if the liberals lie to us about what they are going to do.....how can we expect Businesses to pass on the 'savings' to us?
