I hope the rallies across BC and in particular the vancouver rally is a HUGE success. It also has to be the impetus that causes voters to want to sign the initative, that wont happen for 6 months! (I think that is a big mistake and will be the downfall of this fight against the hst)
The colleges and universities of BC are the future communities that will determine if the current Liberals survives or disintegrates. So, I am sending emails out to their respective associations to inform them of their life long engagement to the planned HST.
It takes that long to organize it properly if it is to have a chance to succeed, Brian. Slowly and methodically is the right way to go. Remember, there are only 6 or 8 volunteers on the organizing committee, with little money, and they want to have all their ducks in a row before applying to Elections BC. Anyway, no one will forget how angry they are. The legislation still has to be passed.
